INDEPENDENT FILMS FROM SUNDANCE, CANNES, TRIBECA AND MORE AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING FROM THE LIBARY

(Belcamp, Maryland – May 31, 2013) Harford County Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of IndieFlix, a premier online streaming service provider of award-winning independent films, shorts and documentaries from around the world, provided through RBdigital from Recorded Books. Harford County Public Library customers now have unlimited access to thousands of film-festival hits, including the best of Sundance, Cannes, and Tribeca. IndieFlix is available on Apple®, Android™, and all Internet-enabled devices and can also be watched on TV through a Roku device.

“Purchasing Indieflix allows the Library to bring independent cinema to Harford County,” commented Jennifer Ralston, Materials Management Administrator. “It provides Library card holders the opportunity to see independent films from new directors worldwide. Indieflix is like a ticket to the great film festivals of the world!”
